Partnerships Account Executive
As a valued member of the Partnerships Team you will be responsible for the management of & activation delivery of Welsh Rugby Union and Principality Stadium Official Suppliers. This will be achieved by building strong working relationships with key supplier contacts as well as internal stakeholders.
The Person
The suitable candidate will have experience of working within Account Management ideally within sport sponsorship, but we are open to experience gained within other sectors. Candidates will be confident in nature and have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to problem solve and manage relationships effectively.
The Role
- Account management and delivery of rights within commercial sponsorship agreements of WRU Official Suppliers
- Organise, agree and deliver all Supplier rights & activation including ticketing, branding, social media and player appearances.
- Communicating ad-hoc opportunities to potential suppliers & partners
- Delivering community-based events and presentations in line with commercial requirements
- Carry out duties to help support the WRU/PS mission statement in line with the Company’s core values
- Support Partnership Team with any additional duties that may be required across the department as required.
WRU Requirements
The WRU require that individuals are proficient in IT skills, specifically Microsoft packages. Excellent written and verbal communications are essential, along with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh and a Valid UK Driver's License is desirable. This role is subject to a basic/enhanced DBS check.
